OSP 2002

Star Parties

A Star party is a gathering of amateur astronomers usually at a dark sky location to observer the night sky.

The above image was taken at the 2002 Oregon Star Party. The 20 mimute image shows the Milky Way and at the bottom are two observers with their red lights at their telescopes. Also, a dome tent is lit up from the inside with a red light. The left side of the dome tent is blocked by the back of a car with a roof rack.
