Ubuntu 20.04 LTS GNOME 3.36

Project 10: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) &
GNOME 3.36 (Gresik)

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS has the GNOME 3.36 desktop environment.

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS project name is Focal Fossa and the GNOME 3.36 project name is Gresik.

GNOME 3.36 settings menu is acessed in the top menu bar, right corner.

GNOME 3.36 settings menu is acessed by right mouse click on the desktop.

Right click on the desktop to select GNOME settings.

Activities is located in the top menu bar, left corner.

Activities shows all open applications.

The keyboard Windows key is a short cut for the Activities.

The dock contains a list of favorites applications icons for quick access.

The dock default position is left side of the desktop.

The dock can be position at the left side, bottom or right side in the GNOME settings.

Also, the dock can be set to auto hide when a application window touches the dock.

The dock shows applicion icons.

The user can add and remove favorites icons.

My dock favorites are:

A dot in front of the icon shows the application is running.

A program icon is added to the dock when it is running if it is not a favorites

Dock icons size is adjustable.

At the bottom of the dock is show applications icon (9 dits, 3 x 3 square).

Use the Windows key to see the workspace side bar on the right side.

Drage and drop application between workspaces.

Use Windows+Tab keys to cycle through applictions open in the current workspace.
