Many international experts gave excellent presentations in astronomy CCD imaging techniques. Check schedule its99.pdf (PDF file 51KB) for details. Some of the presenters were Mel Bartels, Richard Berry, Wayne Brown (Apogee Instruments), James Burnell, Adrian Catterall, Robert Dalby, Alan Holms (SBIG - Santa Barbara Instrument Group), William McLaughlin, Tim Puckett and Rob West. Presentation of individual projects by the ITS participants included David Haworth, Eric Schandall and Jan Wisniewski.

Session breaks provided time to further explore CCD imaging techniques with the presenters and other attendees. Saturday breakfast and lunch was included in the conference registration fee of $54.00.

Mel Bartels showed his water cooled Hale Research Scientific Imaging CCD camera with its very large SITe - Scientific Imaging Technologies, Inc. 512 CCD chip.

Gerry showed his Apogee Instruments AP4 CCD camera with the Kodak KAF-0400 CCD chip. The camera is mounted on telephoto lens.
