Perseids Meteor 2004

Image was taken during the night of August 11 to the morning of August 12, 2004. Notice the lack of red lights because most observers have gone to bed. This image was taken around 4:00 am. This is one of the nine out of nineteen photos that had a meteor which was taken with a camera mounted on a fixed tripod facing East at the Oregon Star Party 2004. The bright star to the left is Betelgeuse and the red streak in the lower center is the Orion nebula.
