Anyone interested in astronomy is encouraged to join WVAS and participate in our activities. Dues are $25 per year for a Regular Membership or $35 per year for a Family Membership. Full time students receive a $5 discount. Membership includes a monthly electronic newsletter, The Nebula, that describes meetings, other club activities, astronomy news, and coming events. Membership includes eligibility for reduced rates on select astronomy-related magazines and books. Also included is membership in the Astronomical League, International Dark-Sky Association and the Night Sky Network. Anyone interested may call or e-mail any of the WVAS officers listed below or just show up at the next meeting.

Our meetings are normally held on the first Saturday of each month (except January)
at the West Lafayette Observatory located next to Cumberland Elementary School at 600
Cumberland Avenue, West Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. The January meeting is combined with a
dinner with our families at some other location.
