Turkey Run Public Observing Session

WVAS worked with the Indina Department of Natural Resources to put on an outreach event at Turkey Run during the afternoon and at Shades State Park in the evening. (Sadly the evening event was completely clouded out.)


Ed Harfmann is showing Andrew Schilling how to set up a telescope for solar observing. Finding the Sun is a bit tricker than you might think.










After our observing session, we sat down for a great meal at the Turkey Run Inn.

We look forward to coming out again next year!
