Solar day...

Some observing... Some clouds.

The public was invited to safely observe the most important star in our sky... The Sun.

During the cloudy times, a PowerPoint presentation was given by Ed Harfmann about the Sun and it's influence upon our lives and culture.

A Sterling heat engine was on exhibit to show one way to harness the Sun's energy.

Of course we had several telescopes setup for observing. Lisa Wieland is discussing the view with some of our visitors.
