The Moon, Venus and Jupiter Line Up For A Portrait

Jupiter, Venus and the moon,
 top to bottom.
Here are two shots of the alignment between themoon, Jupiter and Venus that occurred on 2/16/99.  It was really a beautiful alignment, with just enough clouds to make it interesting.
Jupiter, Venus and the moon, top to
bottom These shots are essentially the same except for the exposure time. The top one was for 2 seconds and the bottom one was 1 second. Both were captured on 800 speed Kodak Gold Max print film through a 35mm-70mm zoom lens at F3.5 with a Canon A1 body.
